MUJI Chatswood Concourse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to join our team! As the Store Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the store to ensure its success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate your team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate updates on targets, promotions, product knowledge, and any other relevant information.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and enhance the overall performance of the store.
- Ensure operational excellence by managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock takes, and maintaining high standards of visual merchandising.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to address any issues.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including health & safety regulations, to create a safe and compliant working environment for all staff and customers.
- Collaborate with senior management to provide insights on market trends and customer preferences to inform business decisions.

Skills and Experiences:
- Previous management experience in a fast-paced retail environment
- Demonstrable experience in budget and financial management, including sales, wage control and other relevant KPI's
- Strong people management experience, preferably in retail
- Ability to develop, coach and motivate team members to work to the best of their ability, whilst creating a supportive and inclusive working environment
- Ability to implement business and individual development strategies
- A commitment to high safety standards within our store
- Sound conflict resolution and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage high volumes of stock
- Flexibility to work across the week as well as late night trade, weekends and public holidays
- Ability to create a friendly and rewarding experience for our customers
- Exceptional customer service and a positive can-do attitude
