What’s the role?
We’re looking for an experienced Principal Tech Lead to join our dynamic team in Sydney and play a key role in one of Australia’s largest transformation programs. This is a Sydney-based hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the office. You will set the technical vision, lead solution design, and mentor a team of developers while driving innovation and technical excellence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define technical vision and make strategic architectural and technology stack decisions.
- Design and architect scalable, robust, and creative solutions to meet business needs.
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and resolving technical challenges.
- Oversee project implementation from planning to delivery, including workload estimation and stakeholder updates.
- Act as a technical authority, conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business requirements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation.
What do I need?
- Proven experience in technical leadership roles with strong architectural and solution design skills.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Customer Hub (Siebel UCM) and Informatica.
- Strong background in systems integration.
- Solid understanding of APIs, relational databases, and enterprise-grade application development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
