Technical Field Specialist Job
This role is focused on delivering exceptional technical support to customers in the field. As a Technical Field Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact at customer sites, handling assignments ranging from troubleshooting to commissioning projects, service and maintenance inspections, and equipment installation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by performing routine maintenance activities and addressing customer concerns in a timely manner. They will conduct thorough technical assessments and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, including management, engineering, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams.
* Analyze problems and implement cost-effective solutions with minimal supervision.
* Work independently or collaboratively with assigned technicians on preventive/corrective maintenance tasks, assisting customer operations and maintenance crews as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* PREFERRED Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation trade qualification or degree-qualified Engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls disciplines with industry experience.
* Strong hands-on technical knowledge with rotating equipment and PLC systems, including either mechanical or instrument/electrical aspects.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
