Permanent Full-Time Appointment x 2
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a working visa (for fixed-term contract appointments) or permanent residency (for permanent appointments).
Lecturing staff employed in 2024 are eligible to receive an Attraction and Retention Incentive of $10,000 (per annum, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment upon commencement at CRTAFE, with the remainder paid on the anniversary of their start date. Staff must remain employed in Kalgoorlie for 12 months to be eligible for the second payment.
About the role
The primary role of a lecturer is to teach, facilitate learning, and conduct assessments using traditional, new, and innovative methods to a diverse range of clients. Lecturers will also provide consultancy, information, and promotional services to industry, prospective students, and community clients. The TAFE environment offers comprehensive industry-based Training Packages and a quality system that provides a framework for delivery and assessment.
To succeed in this role, you should have a Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical / Mobile Plant (or equivalent). The successful applicant will also have at least 5 years of relevant vocational or lecturing experience with the ability to facilitate and encourage learning.
