Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Trade Assistant to join a well-established business. The successful candidate will support a diversity of activities, including assisting in the hydraulics/service centre and stores.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting production/hydraulics and service teams in achieving plans.
* Safely loading and unloading parts from goods inwards to production.
* Disassembly and pre-assessment cleaning of hydraulic components.
* Painting of components.
* Building service works orders.
* Other duties including warehouse & logistics, operational duties as required.
* General caretaking and cleaning activities ensuring site and facilities are clean and well presented.
* Ad hoc delivery with suppliers.
Essential Position Requirements
1. Demonstrated Industry experience.
2. Understanding of the importance of our products to customers.
3. Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
4. Thoroughness in completing and checking tasks, attention to detail.
5. Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
6. Ability to develop rapport and build strong relationships with customers (both Group office and Site).
7. Ability to understand priorities amidst conflicting customer requirements.
8. Computer literacy.
9. Innovative thinker who is positive, proactive and ready to embrace change.
10. Current drivers' licence.
11. Forklift Operators licence.
