Key Responsibilities:
* Patient Scheduling: Book, coordinate, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently.
* Front Desk Operations: Greet patients promptly and assist with any inquiries or concerns.
* Schedule Maintenance: Update and maintain current information on providers' schedules to ensure seamless operations.
* Phone and Email Support: Answer phone calls, screen messages, and provide accurate information to callers as needed.
* Appointment Confirmation: Contact patients to confirm appointments and make necessary adjustments.
* Chart Preparation: Assemble patients' charts and create new patient records accurately.
* Personal Interview: Conduct personal interviews to gather required demographic and insurance information, and enter it into the system.
* Consent and Insurance Forms: Obtain required signatures on legal consents and insurance forms.
* Verification: Contact insurers to verify coverage and ensure we are the primary care provider when necessary.
* Claims Adjustment: Make adjustments to the computer classification of claims to accurately reflect expected pay sources.
* Public Inquiries: Answer patient and public inquiries regarding regulations and services, and refer complex issues to the appropriate person or department.
* Exit Billing: Perform exit billing and discuss patient account balances with responsible parties.
* Cash Collections: Collect and process daily cash collections accurately.
* Log Management: Maintain a daily log of uncompensated care applications and other governmental applications.
Requirements:
* Communication Skills: Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in Spanish.
* Adaptability: Show ability to adapt to changes readily and work independently with minimal supervision.
* Organizational Skills: Display strong organizational skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.

Qualifications:
* A minimum of two years of experience in a medical office support setting, or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
