Assistant Director / Educational Leader / Early Childhood Teacher – St Nicholas
St Nicholas Early Education is seeking passionate, dedicated, and experienced leaders to join our leadership team at our brand recent Kotara South centre. The role includes shaping engaging learning experiences for children, supporting the professional growth of educators, and contributing to our culture of high quality in early education and care.
Responsibilities
- Support the Centre Director in leading daily operations and ensuring exceptional outcomes for children and families.
- Mentor educators, manage compliance and administration, and step into leadership of the service when required.
- Inspire and guide the team of educators to deliver best‑practice programs and pedagogy.
- Collaborate to develop innovative, reflective, and inclusive learning environments for all children.
- Deliver high‑quality educational programmes that nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence, working with the Educational Leader to design engaging, play‑based learning experiences.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Children’s Services or Degree in Early Childhood Teaching recognised by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Authority.
- Working With Children Check verification number.
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training.
- DEC approved child protection training certificate.
