Asset Management – Australia and New Zeland Sales Support – Associate

About the Role

As a Sales Support Associate, you will report to the co‐leads of the Institutional Sales Team to support the Institutional Sales team in various aspects – 1) by supporting the sales strategy delivery; 2) CRM maintenance, including data quality, metrics and analysis; 3) research support & data analysis. You will work closely with the sales support resources in Sydney and India to provide support to the Sales team.

Job Responsibilities

* Prepare and disseminate business, product and market reports/analysis and ensure that the documents are cleared for external dissemination.
* Coordinate and collaborate with other functional areas to handle client enquiries, RFI/RFP and assist with onboarding.
* Assist the Sales team with booking appointments, preparing for client meetings and following up on client information requests.
* Assist with logistics for client roadshows (onshore and offshore) and coordinate with internal parties for all related materials.
* Maintain records and various logs for the sales team; understand internal procedures and control framework.
* Assist input of call reports.
* Take part in data management, creating client campaigns through CRM, and support rating and segmentation of client data.
* Perform competitor analysis (positioning of strategies vs competitors).
* Manage and analyse information, including product flows and reports that identify sales opportunities.
* Prepare internal management reports for internal reporting purposes.
* Assist with client plans, competitor/product analysis and industry trends.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

* University graduate in Business Finance and/or related discipline with experience in the financial industry.
* Good analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of investment products.
* Effective planning and time‐management skills to meet strict deadlines or changing priorities.
* Strong attention to detail, time management and communication skills.
* Team player who takes initiative and pre‐empts what may be needed.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

* Preferably with an Asset Management business background.
* Experience in client service.
* Knowledge of Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg and Salesforce.
