Job Title
A clinical educator is required to work in the mental health inpatient units and the Mental Health Emergency Consultation Service (MHECS) at a hospital. The role will also involve supporting the orientation, learning and development of undergraduate and postgraduate nursing staff across the service.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement clinical education programs relevant to mental health nursing capabilities that reflect recovery and trauma-informed care principles.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities.
* Provide patient-centered care and cultural safety, while promoting continuous professional development.
* Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures and protocols related to mental health nursing practice.

The ideal candidate will possess:
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Current registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or significant experience in mental health nursing practice.
