You'll be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring supplier performance to support production and project timelines.
The role also involves ERP system support, contract negotiation, and collaboration with internal teams to meet operational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSource and purchase materials and services for production and projectsObtain competitive quotations for engineered items and explore alternate sourcing optionsLiaise with suppliers regarding availability, delivery, and performanceConduct supplier audits and performance reviewsIssue purchase orders and manage open ordersSupport ERP setup and maintain item policy accuracyCollaborate with internal teams on project and production requirementsEnsure compliance with procurement processes and QMS standardsNegotiate contracts and maintain strong supplier relationshipsWhat We're Looking ForEssential Qualifications & Experience:3–5 years' experience in technical purchasing and supplier managementERP system knowledgeStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple sourcing activities and meet deadlinesPreferred Skills:Experience in production and inventory managementTertiary qualification in supply chain, manufacturing, or operationsExperience with demand planning and logisticsEligibility to hold an Australian Security Clearance (DISP)Familiarity with ISO **** or similar, experience within as AS**** organisationSalary & BenefitsThe salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
