**Your new company**
Our Education Sector Client is currently seeking an Admissions Officer to commence ASAP for a period of 8 weeks with the potential to extend or become permanent.
**Your new role**
You will work either full time hours from Monday to Friday OR part time hours working 6 hours per day on site in Geelong VIC. The Admissions Officer reports directly to the Admissions Manager and provides administrative support to facilitate the enrolments.
- Maintain the database to reflect enquiry information. A high level of accuracy is required
- Support Admissions Manager in conducting tours
- Coordinate administration of scholarship programs
- Maintain confidential files to ensure all relevant information is included and uploaded accurately into the database
- Maintain record keeping and administrative systems and actively contribute to innovation and continuous improvement of practices and processes
- Draft letters and correspondence and produce reports as required
- Provide "day to day" administrative support for the Admissions Manager as required
- Coordinate and assist in enrolment events
**What you'll need to succeed**
To succeed, you will need:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written), and proven capacity to liaise with people at all levels (both within and outside the organisation) and maintain strict confidentially
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills - knowledge of database software such as Synergetic is an advantage
- Well-developed general office and administrative skills, a proven ability to manage administrative systems and high attention to detail
- Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable
**Please note, to be considered for this role, you will need a Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain one), valid drivers licence and triple vaccination against COVID-19.
