We're looking for a capable and independent Underground Mining Engineer to join our consulting team.
This role is focused on site-based support across Australian underground operations, through technical secondments with a variety of established clients.
You'll step into operational roles as they arise covering drill & blast, production, and short-term (up to 3-month) planning, typically working standard FIFO/DIDO rosters.
For those interested, international roles may also become available over time.
From time to time, internal technical project work may also be on offer.
This role offers genuine variety and responsibility, minus the corporate politics.
You'll be joining a team that values solid technical work, client outcomes, and professional trust over status reports and red tape.
About You
You're an underground mining engineer who:
Has hands-on site experience in production and short-term scheduling
Is confident with drill & blast planning and daily to 3-month planning horizons
Knows your way around Deswik CAD and Sched – proficiency is essential
Can hit the ground running and work with low supervision
Takes pride in delivering useful, practical solutions to site teams
Maintains a strong safety mindset and operates with integrity
Has the right to work in Australia (essential)
