Based in Ballarat.Your new role: As part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team in the Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub, you'll play a vital role in supporting adults in Victoria who are experiencing mental health or wellbeing challenges.About The ProgramMental Health and Wellbeing Hubs were established in **** in response to the increased need for mental health support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
These Hubs provide free, accessible support to adults in Victoria who are experiencing mental health or wellbeing challenges.Benefits Of Working At UnitingOur work isn't easy, but it matters.

Access training and development opportunities to help you grow.Uniting offers up to 15 days paid leave for domestic violence support.Your skills and experienceTertiary qualifications in an allied health discipline (Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or equivalent)Relevant experience post qualification in a community mental health program, delivering direct clinical services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.Demonstrated experience in mental health counselling, including brief interventions, within a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed framework.Proven ability to undertake comprehensive clinical risk assessments, including suicide and self-harm risk, and to develop appropriate management and safety plans.Sound knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to community mental health services, including familiarity with MARAM, FVISS, and CISS frameworks as they relate to information sharing and risk management.Uniting is a child safe organisation and is committed in everyday practice to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, at all times.
