Duties will include but not be limited to
Efficiently develop detailed and accurate Traffic Guidance Schemes & Traffic Management Plans in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, codes, and procedures.
Cooperate and work efficiently with clients on Traffic Management requirements for upcoming projects and determine various phases of construction/events.
Perform job analysis, hazard identification, and risk analysis and provide recommendations to clients.
Ensure all relevant permits are obtained and forwarded to clients within allocated timelines.
Monitor permit expiry dates and apply for extensions, if required.
Cooperate and coordinate with other planners to ensure all work is completed promptly.
Communicate any operational and site requirements to our Works Scheduler, State Operations Manager & Sales Officer.
Review Traffic Guidance Schemes/Traffic Management Plans and communicate issues or concerns to the State Operations Manager / General Manager.
Required Skills & Qualities
Current AWTM Accreditation is essential.
Current WA Driver's License.
Full unrestricted Australian working rights.
Excellent time-management and organization, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc).
Proficiency with programs such as AutoCAD & Nearmaps.
Working knowledge and interpretation of current legislation, standards, and codes of practice relating to traffic management procedures and policies in WA.
Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also independently.
Proactive approach to task management.
Enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to help out where able.
Previous experience in the Traffic Management, Mining, or Construction industries will be highly regarded.
Portfolio or evidence of previous works may be requested.
Attend client site meetings when arranged to discuss upcoming Traffic Management Planning for projects.
