**Project Overview**

Bechtel, a global leader in project management, engineering, procurement and construction, has been selected by Western Sydney Airport Co as its Delivery Partner for the Western Sydney Airport, a $5.3 billion greenfield facility in Badgerys Creek, New South Wales. This will be a landmark project for both New South Wales and Australia and is due for completion at the end of 2026.

**About the Role**

We're looking for an experienced Transaction Manager / Contract Manager to proactively manage transaction services within Ansarada Data Room for the procurement of a main works package. This is a site-based role working in Badgerys Creek, Western Sydney
- You will provide administrative support to the Commercial Manager and Client Representatives throughout the procurement life cycle through to award of the main works package.
- You will be responsible for the provision of transaction services and management of procurement documentation, correspondence, addenda's via Ansarada Data Room.
- You will undertake compliance checks on Tender Submissions with Commercial Manager / Client Representative.
- You will coordinate tenderer interactives, meetings, presentations to support Commercial Manager and Client Representative including administrative support in booking working spaces and meeting rooms for attendees.
- Coordinate and support Commercial Manager (if required) in undertaking assessments of Contractors financial stability and performance relative to the Package.
- You will provide ad-hoc support to the Procurement Team as required and directed relative to the main works package procurement.
- Once the package is awarded to the successful tenderer, you will provide ongoing Quantity Surveying duties in support of the Commercial Manager in the management of the main works contract.
- You will provide guidance and prepare necessary documentation including undertaking of estimation of costs associated with Variations and Claims, payment claims and negotiation and forecasting of costs associated with the packages through trending program in liaison with Project Controls, Construction, Engineering and Project Management.
- You will also manage Technical Service Providers in support of the main works contract that are essential to the delivery of the scope.

**About You**
- Degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Construction Management or Cost Engineering desirable, Registration of Licensing Preferred.
- Experience in management of Data Rooms (preference for Ansarada experience)
- High quality in written communications, editing and drafting of correspondence to Tenderers.
- Experience in estimating, forecasts, pricing, contract law, contract drafting, administration and negotiation of change orders, effective correspondence, planning and scheduling.
- Thorough knowledge of contract administration, home office and field procedures and documents relating to a multi-discipline construction project.
- Working knowledge of engineering/construction industry procurement practices, applicable government and commercial regulations and practices, and Bechtel policies, procedures and work practices.
