Two fixed-term positions available (1.0 FTE and 0.5 FTE) through to 30 April 2027.
Base salary will be in the range $95,361–$102,302 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 6).
Based at Level 7, Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service, 296 Herston Road, Herston, QLD 4006.
About This Opportunity
Join the RECOVER Injury Research Centre and play a key role in delivering industry‐funded research that improves outcomes for people with musculoskeletal injuries and pain. You'll work at the intersection of research, clinical care, and innovation, coordinating end‐to‐end research projects, working closely with hospitals, clinicians, industry partners, and consumers to deliver impactful, technology‐enabled and co‐designed research. You'll contribute to digitally delivered interventions including SMS‐based programs that support recovery, while being part of a growing portfolio of co‐designed research that is influencing how care is delivered across health systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage research projects, including timelines, reporting, and clinical trial activities
* Support research design, protocols, and mixed‐methods data collection
* Lead participant recruitment and stakeholder engagement activities
* Facilitate workshops, interviews, and co‐design activities
* Contribute to high‐quality reports, publications, and continuous improvement initiatives

About You
You're an organised and proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast‐paced clinical research environment. You're motivated by work that has real‐world impact and enjoy bringing people, ideas, and projects together to make things happen.
* A degree in a health or medical field with relevant experience in research coordination or project management
* Proven experience supporting or managing research projects from planning through to delivery
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and competing priorities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Desirable
* Experience in digital health or health technologies, co‐design approaches, qualitative research, or clinical trials
* Experience working as a health professional will be highly regarded
