Your new role
Due to continued growth and an internal promotion, an opportunity exists for a senior Commercial Manager to join the logistics division on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting directly to the GM of Logistics, you will lead the commercial and financial performance of the business unit and act as a trusted commercial advisor to the leadership team.
Working closely with operational and executive stakeholders, your responsibilities will include:
Leading commercial analysis and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making
Developing robust business cases for new initiatives, investments and operational improvements
Performance modelling, budgeting and forecasting for the division
Building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
Leading and contributing to project work as required
This is a hands-on role with clear ownership and accountability for commercial outcomes within a complex operational environment.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience in a senior commercial or financial management role, ideally within construction, logistics or another operationally intensive environment. You enjoy working closely with operations and translating financial data into practical, actionable insights.
You will also bring:
Strong analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
A proactive, solution-focused approach and high level of initiative
The ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
Degree qualifications in accounting, finance or a related discipline
This role is well suited to a commercially focused accountant or finance professional who enjoys planning, analysing and operationalising numbers.
