About You
You will be an enthusiastic and creative Content Strategist with a passion for strategic digital storytelling. Working with the Managing Director and fellow Channel/Project Managers, you will be responsible for the hands‑on development, execution and optimisation of written, visual content.
BFJ Digital are about truly integrated content that combines data with storytelling to deliver ever more powerful outcomes that support their clients' goals. The business is looking to expand their video output so experience in this field would be favourable but not mandatory.
About The Role
A new role developed specifically with content, AI and SEO at the core. The purpose of this role is to ensure BFJ continue to lead the industry as a technical advanced agency, using the latest digital marketing methods to ensure our clients succeed, and our professional journeys excel.
Core Functions
* Written content production
* On‑site SEO audits / management
* Visual content management / production (designers on‑hand as required)
* Meeting clients regularly to discuss SEO and content strategy, digital results, progress and next steps.
* SEO off‑site support to existing team
* Track record of utilising and expanding AI integrations into your role (beyond ChatGPT)
Your Skills And Experience
* Bachelor in Journalism, Media & Comms, Creative Writing or related field.
* 3-4+ years' industry experience.
* Strong skills in AI tools, beyond ChatGPT, not to replace content production, but improve it.
* A strong ability to convey a message and tell a story.
* Ability to develop, translate and leverage strategic customer messages.
* Experience in producing, editing and managing communications.
* Adaptable and flexible problem solver. Ability to analyse, interpret and act on data.
* EXCELLENT attention to detail.
* Hungry, results‑oriented and proactive mindset
* A tertiary qualification in Marketing or Journalism is advantageous.
* Experience with SEO and aligning content with SEO requirements.
* Ability to plan content production over the long term.
* Ability to account manage clients
* Proven capabilities in content planning and schedule adherence.
