About the Role
The Commercial Finance Manager is a key leadership role partnering directly with senior management reporting into the GM.
Managing a small team, this role partners with a range of business units to provide performance reporting, decision support, analysis and insights to support the executive team in achieving their strategic ambitions.
This is a hands-on role responsible for overall finance operations, focusing on cost to serve, product costing, new product development, and commercial support for supply and sales contracts.
Responsibilities
Lead the finance team to drive function performance with full P&L ownership
Prepare all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Own the annual budgeting & forecasting process
Provide monthly management reports and performance analysis
Conduct product costing and cost-to-serve reviews
Develop financial models for new product development
Provide commercial support for key supplier/customer negotiations
Oversee company financial systems
Support non-financial sales and operational stakeholders with commercial insights
Deliver regular performance versus budget updates to the GM & Directors
Perform margin and revenue analysis
Review major capex projects
Skills & Experience
CA / CPA / CIMA qualified
Finance leadership experience within a manufacturing or operational environment
Excellent communication skills to liaise with a broad audience
Results-orientated and metric-driven
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data interpretation and recommendation
Advanced leadership, coaching, mentoring and development skills
