**Role**:
Part-time attendance is a requirement for this position, 3 days per week. School Holiday attendance is required for this position, up to 6 days as per employment conditions specified by the Department of Education.
In this role, the PE Support person will be responsible for maintaining an organised storeroom, ensuring that all sports equipment is appropriately labelled, preparing and distributing equipment bags for PE Teachers. Key tasks include monitoring, maintaining gear, and setting up equipment for PE classes and training sessions. Additionally, the PE Support person will support PE Teachers during team training and assist with student notices and support groups of up to 4 children in tasks designed by the teacher. This position also involves classroom assistance, setting up, packing up equipment, supporting events, camps and attending relevant staff meetings.
**Responsibilities**:
- Carry out allocated activities and tasks determined by the school consistent with role description.
- Participate in planning and preparation with teachers on a regular basis.
- Participate in professional learning activities provided through this initiative.
- Participate in the ongoing evaluation of this initiative.
