The Houses Daylesford, one portfolio within The Houses Hotel Group stable, is known for exceptional stays, thoughtful service, and beautifully curated properties. The Guest Services team plays a central role in bringing that to life.
This is a fast-paced, people-focused position where every day is different. You’ll be a problem solver, a friendly voice guests rely on, and a key player in delivering memorable retreats and stays across our growing portfolio.
What You’ll Do
1. Guest Services
If you love making people feel special, this is where you will shine
• Manage bookings, payments and guest enquiries with professionalism and genuine warmth.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure all homes are prepared for guests
• Solve problems quickly and confidently — no two days are the same
• Keep communication flowing between guests and property carers
• Work between Monday and Friday with the occasional Saturday if needed
• Make sure rates, rules and listings are always accurate
• Keep databases accurate and up to date
• Deliver the kind of service that makes guests want to return again and again
3. Quality Control & Property Operations
Help keep our portfolio running like a well-oiled machine.
• Work with property carers, gardeners and maintenance teams to prioritise work.
• Carry out property inspections when needed
• Review guest feedback and help improve the experience across The Houses Daylesford
4. Make Things Even Better
We love people who love improving things.
• Spot operational gaps and help streamline them
• Support new property sourcing and onboarding
• Keep listings, rates and processes crisp, clear and consistent
• Collaborate with teams across the portfolio on shared initiatives
5. Content Creation
Help capture and communicate experiences. Have an eye for beautiful spaces and authentic moments and an interest in sharing them
• Part of the marketing team weekly meetings
• Share property updates, guest insights and seasonal moments for use in marketing.
• Assist with eDMs, competitions, social media and marketing
What You Bring
• Experience in accommodation, bookings or guest services
• Confidence communicating with guests, owners and service teams
• A positive, solutions-focused attitude
• The ability to work independently while being a fantastic team player
• A genuine love for hospitality, tourism and creating great experiences
• Reliability, warmth and a knack for staying calm under pressure
