This Role: Business Development Manager
As a Business Development Manager at Diageo Australia, you will be at the forefront of expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth with key on and off-prem customers.
You will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and thrive through a combination of formal training, mentoring and coaching from respected colleagues, and real-world experience.
This role covers Shepparton, Albury and Surrounds.
A Day in the Life of a Diageo BDM
1. Market Knowledge: You will monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
2. Customer Relationships: You will engage and build relationships with various on and off-prem customers, conducting regular sales calls and product presentations to drive product knowledge and sell-through.
3. Sales Growth: You will develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, working closely with the wider sales team to drive product placement and promotions.
4. Collaboration: You will work closely with functions like sales, marketing and supply to create and drive brand expansion initiatives, ensuring our products stand out in the competitive market.
5. Negotiations: You will lead contractual negotiations with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms for both your customer and Diageo while maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
