Pinaroo Roma Inc. is a 71 bed not-for-profit Aged Care Facility situated in Roma, Queensland and is currently seeking a Administration Support Officer to join our team. This is a Part Time position working approximately 50 hours per fortnight, Monday - Friday. Would suit candidates looking for employment during school hours.
We are looking for an experienced Admin Support Officer to join our team who will perform a variety of administrative tasks and be the first point of contact for incoming calls and for visitors to Pinaroo.
For this position, you should be able to work autonomously, using your organizational skills to manage your office space and your time. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ultimately, you will be working alongside staff and management and support them to ensure the day-to-day office operations run smoothly. You will also have access to a company car when needed for shopping trips or running errands.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Answering phones, handling emails, and responding to inquiries in a professional manner
* Assist with ordering and stock control
* Facilitating new staff orientation and induction
* Continual maintenance and assistance with administration policies and procedures
* General administration, such as filing, archiving, data entry, word processing, minute taking and photocopying
We will provide on-the-job training regarding our processes, and understanding of our business, it is our expectation that you have solid experience in administrative processes and have the skill set consistent with a role of this nature.
To be successful in attaining this role, it is important that you can identify your ability to meet the following criteria and also discuss at interview stage.
* Previous experience in administration
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
* Have excellent time management skills
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills
* Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Previous experience with MYOB is desirable
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
