Risk and Compliance Coordinator
The Risk & Compliance Coordinator is expected to support the College community (Principal, staff, students and parents) in the continued promotion of the philosophy of the College which is founded on the Mission Statement. The position is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the College Risk Management Framework.
As a Risk and Compliance Coordinator, you will:
* Maintain the electronic risk management system, Ideagen
* Develop and maintain College hazard/risk registers
* Provide risk management reporting for the College Council
* Provide advice to school leadership on risk management strategies
* Lead the completion of risk assessments, for school activities, in consultation with stakeholders
* Develop and maintain a register of College policies identifying appropriate policy owners and review timelines
* Monitor and review policies to ensure compliance with all legislation
* Maintain the Blue Card Portal and Register as per Blue Card Services Legislation and Anglican Schools Commission policies and procedures
* Maintain the Volunteer Register as per Anglican Schools Commission policies and procedures for all areas of the College, liaising with stakeholders
* Ensure all new staff are compliant before commencement and when leaving the College, working with the HR department
* Update, assign, and maintain records of mandatory staff training ensuring compliance across the College
* Provide executive support to the Child Safe Committee chairperson
* Actively participate in Risk and Compliance network groups

Skills and experience required
* Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is highly desirable
* A current Work Health and Safety Officer certification, or the ability to obtain one
* A current Fire Safety Advisor qualification, or the ability to obtain one
* Strong Microsoft Office and database skills
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate is desirable
* Drivers Licence is desirable
* Valid paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
