Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in a variety of vehicles (cars, vans, trucks, etc.) at customer locations.
* Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
* Conduct more complex repairs including engine diagnostics, suspension work, battery replacements, and minor electrical repairs.
* Use diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle issues.
* Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair needs and provide estimates.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer information.
* Ensure company vehicle is stocked with necessary tools and parts.
* Follow all safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
* Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an automotive mechanic (2+ years preferred).
* Minimum 1-2 years of automotive mechanic experience is required.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
* Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues in office.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
* Strong communication and time-management skills.
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in a variety of outdoor conditions.
* Trade qualification plus additional automotive certifications are required.
* Australian citizenship is required for this position.
