Our local government client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design of a compliant eDRMS architecture leveraging Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Purview, and selected third party tools.
The role is accountable for defining the target‐state information architecture records management design, and compliance controls, including how records are migrated and managed within SharePoint. You will also design enterprise‐scale rollout and change architectures for large, complex SharePoint environments, considering both single tenant and multi‐tenant models.
The position also requires creating a clear implementation roadmap with phases, milestones, governance roles, and well‐documented deliverables with defined acceptance criteria and target dates.
Mandatory requirements
* Formal relevant qualification (Degree) in Computer Science, IT, software engineering or other relevant discipline and/or substantial relevant experience in Solution Architecture, systems analysis and solutions design preferably in a large/diverse organisation or government entity.
* Strong research, analytical problem solving and evaluation skills with the capacity to examine complex problems and develop innovative strategies for their resolution to a diverse client base.
* Strong business acumen including understanding of business operations and strategies and the ability to prepare professional business communication such as reports, presentations, projects, planning and policy documents.
* Demonstrated ability with relevant business modelling techniques such as Business Capability Modelling, Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN), and Business Model Canvas, as well as workflow modelling and enterprise application integration. Understanding of UX (user experience) and its importance.
* Strong time management and organisation skills to manage significant or multiple projects and competing priorities.
* Excellent leadership and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Desirable requirements
* Experience of Government sector, in particular, Local Government
* Experience with or knowledge of, the QGEA framework for local government
* Experience with systems analysis and solution design, technical architecture, design lifecycle, infrastructure, standards and guidelines.
* Experience developing a business capability outline, understanding of business and enterprise architecture.
