Snap Fitness Hervey Bay has a fantastic new opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Assistant Club Manager (Full-time). The potential candidate will be responsible for the performance and success of the club.
You must be comfortable working both alone and with a small team. Our hours of operations are Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 6.30pm, Friday 9.00am - 2pm and Saturday 9.30am pm.
The role?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Club Manager to lead our driven and hardworking team. This position will be responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the sales and fitness teams. With a passion for providing outstanding customer service by meeting and greeting all individuals who walk through our doors, it will also be your responsibility to lead the in-house sales, ensure the team are meeting all KPIs and sales targets and seeking out and generating new sales leads. You will be given the freedom to execute a lead generation/marketing strategy plan to increase our club, memberships sales, and member retention by promoting the many benefits of leading a healthy and active lifestyle.
Beyond this, you will also be required to:
* Coordinate exciting and attention-grabbing sale events, and marketing outreach
* Be comfortable to work with all social media platforms
* Manage, monitor, and develop the performance of sales staff
* Promote the Snap Fitness brand and image within the local community
* Model all club activities through self-involvement (leading by example)
* Encourage and implement our policies, business practices, systems and processes.
* Ensures that all front desk systems are followed: such as proper check-in, telephone inquiries (general and sales related), guest registration, and cash handling
* Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service
* Provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues
* Build a fun, engaging environment and culture for our members
* Ensure that the facility is clean, safe, well-maintained and operationally sound

* Be passionate about health and fitness
* Have proven people skills with a highly developed communication and interpersonal skill set
* Have knowledge of the fitness industry and keep up to date with fitness trends – MUST HAVE CERTIFICATE 3 IN FITNESS
* Previous management experience
* Experience in providing motivation, support, guidance to a team
* Excellent leadership skills
* Ability to multi-task and stay organized
* Positive, motivating, and effective communication skills
* Strong computer skills required with knowledge of MS office programs
* Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
