Position Details
* Employment Type: Full‑time, ongoing
* Hours: 38 hours per week (with potential overtime)
* Salary: $78,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience
* Location: Moree, NSW
* Start Date: Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities
* Installing, repairing, replacing, maintaining, and restoring roofing materials including metal, tile/shingle, Colourbond, and fibreglass
* Reading and interpreting plans and job specifications
* Applying waterproofing membranes
* Installing and cementing ridge capping and verge tiles
* Installing flashings and sealing around roof penetrations
* Erecting scaffolding, roof rails, and safety systems as required
* Ensuring all work complies with workplace health and safety requirements
* Working independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks within required timeframes
Skills & Experience
* 1-3 years of relevant roofing experience
* Proficiency with roofing tools, equipment, materials, and techniques
* Strong understanding of safe work practices, particularly working at heights
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment
* A valid driver's licence is desirable
