This education centre is a community college affiliated to a local university which offers five diploma courses which enable teachers to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in mainstream schools. The centre also provides school-based tuition for children with learning difficulties.The centre is part of a nationally registered trust which runs charitable educational projects.
The Deputy Principal will be responsible for the management of the college including course development marketing and service provision. He or she will also be responsible for overseeing a home schooling project which is separately funded but runs within the remit of the college.
The ideal candidate will have experience of administration of a similar organisation in addition to course development marketing and the provision of services. He or she will be capable of overseeing the home schooling project.
