Leadership and Team Development:
Lead, coach and support a team of professionals to ensure their growth and successful delivery of the organisational strategy.
Assurance and Audit Plans:
Oversee the implementation of assurance and audit plans that meet regulatory requirements.
Risk Identification and Mitigation:
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess financial and non-financial risks, embedding effective controls and mitigation strategies across the business process.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to relevant global and local regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Incident Management:
Oversee operational and compliance incidents, conduct investigations and implement remedial actions.
About You
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in risk management, compliance and/or audit practices. The ideal candidate will have:
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to foster a positive team culture and drive high performance.
Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within the financial services or related industries.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to business services.
Experience engaging with regulators or external bodies.
Demonstrated success in embedding a quality improvement and risk-aware culture.
Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
Strong analytical, interpretation and reporting skills, including excellent problem-solving abilities.
Tertiary qualifications in a commercial discipline such as commerce, finance, accounting, law or equivalent.
