Informatech is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to support a Federal Government Department delivering a major digital uplift program. You will work within a high performing technical team responsible for enhancing and modernising enterprise systems that support critical regulatory and digital services.
This role suits a developer who can work effectively in a fast paced environment, contribute to technical design and delivery, and collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders.
This is a permanent role and we are offering a salary of between $160-185k plus super depending on experience. Preference is to be Canberra based, but we will consider applicants from interstate.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for enterprise applications
* Develop and maintain C# based, n-tier applications and supporting documentation
* Build backend services using Web API and SQL technologies
* Develop automated build and deployment scripts using tools such as TFS, PowerShell and FinalBuilder
* Work within Agile Scrum teams to deliver enhancements and system improvements
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environmentsConduct peer reviews of code and deployment scripts
* Produce well designed, documented and testable code
Skills and Experience
* Strong experience developing within the .NET / .NET Core environment
* Experience using Visual Studio and Microsoft development tooling
* Backend development experience including Web APIs and SQL
* Experience working across the Software Development Lifecycle
* Experience developing automated build and deployment scripts within the Microsoft stack
* Experience supporting cloud based applications
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to manage priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timeframes
* Strong communication skills working with distributed stakeholders
