As a Lead Analyst, Information Governance & Data Protection, you will:
Lead the development and implementation of data governance and privacy standards, and procedures to ensure the effective and compliant management of data across the organisation
Establish and maintain robust controls to safeguard personal and sensitive information, aligning with regulatory and organisational requirements
Monitor and assess compliance with data governance and privacy policies, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions to strengthen control effectiveness
Develop and enhance data management practices, including data classification, metadata management, data lifecycle management, and privacy impact assessments
Analyse data governance and privacy metrics, audit findings, and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in data protection and policy effectiveness
Facilitate training and awareness programs to promote a culture of privacy, accountability, and adherence to data governance policies among staff
To be successful, you'll have:
Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or
Extensive experience and management expertise; or
An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
Experience in data governance, data management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
Proven ability to develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures in a complex organisation
