About the Role 
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping veterans and other clients transition successfully, return to work or re-engage in meaningful activities. Your responsibilities will include: 
- Assessment of veteran client rehabilitation and well-being needs. 
- Create and implement individual rehabilitation plans to promote a successful transition from the Australian Defence Force to civilian life. 
- Coordination of return-to-work plans (vocational assessments, functional capacity evaluations, work trials, and job placement) and non-return-to-work plans (engagement in treatment and psychosocial activities). 
- Delivering services aligned to your allied health discipline (e.g. ADL assessments, vocational assessments, functional capacity evaluations, ergonomic interventions, worksite analysis, training and employer consultancy). 
- Liaising with key stakeholders including medical professionals, employers and support networks. 
This role offers the choice of permanent full-time, part time or contractor pathways, with flexible hybrid working options. This position can also be based from our office in Varsity Lakes, QLD.

About You 
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Exercise Physiology or Rehabilitation Counselling (other Comcare-accredited allied health applicants considered) 
- Accreditation with AHPRA or your relevant professional body 
- Driver's licence and access to a vehicle 
- Full working rights in Australia 
- Background including references & ability to obtain a successful police check 
- Valid ABN and current professional insurances (if contractor)
