We're seeking dedicated individuals to support people with disabilities in our SIL Accommodation homes and through in-home care services. This role offers a unique opportunity to foster independence and enhance the quality of life for every individual we support.
About the Role
As a key member of our Care Services team, you'll play a hands-on role supporting participants in our SIL Accommodation homes, delivering in-home care services and providing community access support. Your experience working with individuals with complex care needs will be invaluable in this position.
* Maintenance of daily living skills and routines
* Assistance with medication administration and monitoring
* Support with meal preparation, shopping assistance and home management
* Community participation and engagement
* Behaviour observation and intervention when necessary
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Ageing or related industries (highly regarded)
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Current National Police Clearance
* Own vehicle for transport with comprehensive insurance
* A current QLD Unrestricted Driver's License
