Ruah is proud to have been appointed by the Mental Health Commission to deliver the Community Supported Residential Units (CSRU) program, reflecting a sustained investment in stable, high‐quality residential mental health support in regional Western Australia through to June 2028.

About The Role

The Team Lead – Community Supported Residential Units (CSRU) is a key leadership role responsible for achieving positive outcomes for clients through the CSRU program in Geraldton. Reporting to the Service Lead – Mental Health and Wellness, this role supports the effective management of the program while providing strong advocacy for client needs within leadership and decision‐making forums that reflect regional priorities. The role contributes to shaping Ruah's strategic focus for mental health services within the local community. You will provide coaching and mentoring to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring service delivery aligns with agreed outcomes, performance indicators and available resources.

The Team Lead must meet the criteria of an Approved Supervisor under the Hospitals (Licensing and Conduct of Private Psychiatric Hostels) Regulations 1997 (WA) and demonstrate a sound understanding of associated obligations, licensing conditions and departmental standards.

This is a full‐time, fixed‐term position offered on an initial maximum term contract of 24 months, with the possibility of extension subject to ongoing funding and operational requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

* Relevant qualification(s) in mental health, community services or a related discipline
* Minimum five (5) years' experience leading teams in a residential mental health setting
* Strong alignment with Ruah's purpose, vision and values
* Experience in direct service delivery and achieving client outcomes
* Ability to manage competing priorities with sound judgement
* Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and consultation skills
* Experience building collaborative partnerships
* Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
* Demonstrated understanding of diversity, inclusion and Aboriginal culture

Mandatory Requirements

* Current driver's licence
* WA Working with Children Check
* National Police Certificate
* International Police Clearance (if applicable)
* First Aid Certificate

* Salary aligned to Level 5 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement (SCHADS Award), commencing at over $101,000.
