Core responsibilities:
Program Management & Delivery
Own the delivery of PROJECT ROCKIT's school programs – leading resourcing, staff capability, operational coordination, administration and continuous improvement to ensure quality impact in schools.
Work in close partnership with the Head of Sales & Marketing, maintaining strong alignment between commercial objectives and program delivery.
Ensure all programs are delivered on time, on budget and of a high standard.
Manage safeguarding, compliance and risk management standards for staff and participants.
Build and maintain strong networks with school decision makers to grow awareness of PROJECT ROCKIT in schools.
Impact, Evaluation & Evidence
Own and oversee PROJECT ROCKIT's impact measurement and evaluation framework.
Design, implement and continuously improve systems for capturing, analysing and reporting on outcomes.
Ensure robust, real-time evaluation data embedded in delivery and available for funders and partners as needed.
Translate program evidence into compelling impact stories supporting sustainability and growth goals.
Ensure all outputs are evidence-based and curriculum-aligned.
Systems & Operations
Build and implement operational systems that enable high quality program delivery and team performance.
Establish and maintain clear policies and procedures with documented processes.
Proactively identify operational risks and roadblocks, bring solutions and resolve inefficiencies.
Lead department financial management and ensure program deliveries are met in line with grant and partnership agreements.
Program Content Development
Lead the development and continuous improvement of workshop content and methodologies.
Engage with the National Youth Collective to embed and elevate youth lived experience within programs.
Implement new and updated content with appropriate testing, training and processes.
Design and develop tailored support for schools facing complex challenges, including those in low socioeconomic communities.
Coordinate recruitment, training, performance and conduct of Program Presenters.
Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Foster an inclusive, supportive, high-performing culture.
Oversee resourcing – team rostering, work and leave arrangements.
Assess ongoing staffing needs and develop workforce planning.
Strategy & Organisational Leadership
Contribute actively to organisational strategic planning, as a Senior Leadership Team member.
Develop and implement practices to scale programs in alignment with growth ambitions.
Build profile as a visible, visionary and trustworthy leader to build strong confidence in PROJECT ROCKIT both internally to staff and externally to key stakeholders.
Deliver Professional Development keynotes across the year
Key Selection Criteria (Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications)
Tertiary qualification in youth work, social work, teaching, community services or a closely related discipline.
5+ years' experience in management roles, including direct experience leading, training, developing and performance-managing teams.
Demonstrated experience of establishing and managing systems and processes that enable teams to work efficiently.
Experience building and implementing evaluation and measurement tools in a program delivery context.
Strong literacy in matters of diversity, equity, inclusion and youth issues developed from professional and/or lived experience, with an ability to apply this knowledge in an organisational context.
Experience developing and delivering on strategic objectives – translating strategy into clear action.
Excellent communication skills with an ability to inspire and connect sensitively with people with a range of lived and professional experiences.
Flexibility and adaptability to navigate a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Personal commitment to learning and self-growth
Ideal:
* Demonstrated track record of delivering programs at scale to support positive social impact, preferably in educational settings.
* Experience working in or alongside schools, school wellbeing frameworks and curriculum alignment.
* Background in operations, project management or social impact program management in a growth-stage Social Enterprise or NFP
* Experience delivering professional development for educators or school wellbeing staff.
