The payroll leader oversees all payroll operations, ensuring accurate, efficient processes in accordance with relevant legislation. Key responsibilities include processing employee wages and salaries, managing external lodgements, and producing timely payroll reports.
This position requires strong leadership skills to drive exceptional customer service and continuous improvements in payroll administration and systems. A high level of knowledge in modern payroll practices, as well as experience handling high-volume payroll processing, including end-of-month and end-of-financial-year procedures, is essential.
About This Role
As a qualified payroll professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll team, providing expert guidance and support to ensure seamless payroll operations. You will possess in-depth knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements, paired with strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
