Job Overview
To lead and manage a team for efficient, safe, and effective crane operations. Achieve sales targets by developing business opportunities and introducing cranes and transport equipment and services to new clients.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintenance Management: Ensure the fleet is well maintained on a daily basis.
* Equipment Management: Manage day-to-day running of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Sales Development: Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through active business development.
* Customer Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure client satisfaction.
* Consultation Services: Provide expert consultation on crane configurations and lift studies.
* Proposal Preparation: Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotes, and product solutions to clients.
* Team Leadership: Lead and manage a dedicated crane team for efficiency, safety, and performance.
* Performance Reporting: Report to Senior Management on sales performance, operational issues, marketing opportunities, and risks.
Requirements:
* Proven Experience: Proven experience in crane operations management, sales, or business development.
* Candidate Requirements: Minimum 1-2 years of crane operations management experience.
* Key Skills: Strong knowledge of crane and fleet management, mobilisation process, and maintenance.
* Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills.
* Sales Strategies: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies to meet targets.
* Proposal Writing: Competent in preparing proposals, quotes, and lift studies for clients.
* CAD Proficiency: Proficiency in using AutoCAD for crane drawings.
* Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
* Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to extend business opportunities and meet customer requirements.
