About the role
Join us as our Executive Assistant on a permanent full-time basis and be valued for who you are. Based in Avondale Care, located in the beautiful Cooranbong area surrounded by the Watagans National Park, this role coordinates the smooth and efficient running of the General Manager and Clinical Manager of Avondale Care by providing executive administration support daily, contributing to the success of our organisational objectives.
As a valued member of the Avondale Care team, you will contribute by:
* Providing executive administrative support to the General Manager (GMAC) and Clinical Manager (CMAC) of Avondale Care
* Providing relief for other administrative roles under the direction of the GMAC/CMAC, including Reception, Client Services Officer, and Rostering Coordinator for planned and unplanned leave
* Purchasing clinical and administrative supplies as required
* Maintaining strict confidentiality for all meetings and work
* Managing diaries and appointments
* Providing administrative support for accreditation processes
* Handling general administrative tasks, including document control in cloud systems and archiving as needed
* Undertaking other ad hoc administrative tasks as requested by the GMAC and CMAC
* Supporting the organisation's signature behaviours to foster a positive culture, as part of The ASL Way
About you - Knowledge, Skills & Experience
You will bring the following skills and experience:
* Experience in delivering administrative support services within a health or aged care setting is preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic budget and database tools related to finance, maintenance, clinical care, and governance
* Skills in:
* Writing and reporting
* Working with people
* Planning and organizing
* Adapting to change and responding to pressures
Additionally, you should demonstrate:
* A commitment to a positive organisational culture and adherence to ASL's signature behaviours of commitment, future focus, mission, respect, and honesty
* Current NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to obtain one
* A valid driver's license
* An understanding of, commitment to, and support for the values, ethos, and mission of Adventist Senior Living
You will also possess:
* Proactivity and self-motivation
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
* Legal right to work in Australia
* Willingness to obtain a NDIS Workers Screening ID if not already held
