Job Title: Key Strategic Investment Risk Management Position
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned investment risk professional to join our team as a Senior Manager. This key role will require strategic thinking and leadership in investment risk management, reporting directly to the Head of Risk and Compliance Advisory.
* Developing Investment Risk Frameworks: Oversee and continuously improve investment risk governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (APRA, ASIC).
* Risk Advisory Services: Provide proactive risk advisory support to investment teams, challenging proposals from a risk perspective and embedding a strong risk culture within the organization.
* Metric Monitoring & Reporting: Advise on appropriate investment risk monitoring and tracking metrics, preparing regular risk reports to identify emerging risks and trends.
* Regulatory Alignment: Ensure alignment with industry standards and monitor developments, supporting reviews and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across investment, product, and distribution teams, presenting risk matters to senior leadership and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
