WorkCon is seeking a Traffic Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient traffic management operations across our projects.
This is a key leadership role where you will manage people, compliance, fleet, and stakeholder relationships while driving operational excellence and ensuring a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead all traffic management operations, ensuring systems are operational, effective, and compliant.
* Conduct site audits and ensure permits, fleet, and signage are always in order.
* Manage fleet maintenance schedules and minimise downtime.
* Oversee compliance & safety standards, responding promptly to inspection reports.
* Lead, train, and mentor traffic teams, ensuring professional growth and accountability.
* Implement and manage GPS tracking and telematics systems to improve efficiency.
* Engage with clients and stakeholders, delivering outstanding customer service and supporting business growth.
* Uphold HSEQ standards and embed a strong culture of safety, compliance, and quality.
* Ensure operational systems and data remain secure through cybersecurity best practices.

Qualifications & Experience
* Traffic Management Design (TMD) Certification – Compulsory Requirement.
* Current and valid Australian Driver's Licence.
* QLD Traffic Control Tickets (TMI, TMI2, MUTCD accreditation).
* Minimum 5 years' experience in traffic management or civil infrastructure operations.
* Strong leadership experience managing teams, compliance, and fleet operations.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with project tracking/job allocation software.
