Join this exciting and expanding industry and gain your Certificate III in Landscape Construction! This is a 36-month paid apprenticeship.
With the support of qualified tradespeople, you will:
· Assist with the preparation and installation of landscapes, including planting, paving, and retaining walls.
· Learn how to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and machinery.
· Adhere to all health and safety standards, including personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
· Work closely with the team to ensure that all projects are completed to a high standard.
· Learn to work efficiently in a busy landscaping environment.
· Any other tasks requested by the host employer
Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:
· Must have interest and commitment to work in Construction
· Must hold a White Card or able to obtain ASAP
· Hold (or close to obtaining) a current Drivers License and have own reliable transport
· Participation in a Pre-Apprenticeship course or Certificate I or II Construction course is advantageous
· Work Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable
· Must be physically fit & able to work outdoors
· Be reliable, resilient, motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Able to take direction
