About the Role
* The successful candidate will lead the designated program, overseeing its strategic development and implementation.
* They will supervise teachers engaged in the program, providing guidance and support to ensure student outcomes are met.
* Induction of new staff within the program will be facilitated by the successful candidate, who will also monitor program outcomes and address areas of concern.
Responsibilities
* The Curriculum and Program Leader will coordinate the work of staff engaged in delivering the designated program, ensuring alignment with the school's values and ethos.
* Regular communication with stakeholders, including students, parents, and school staff, will be maintained to ensure smooth program operation.
* Program activities, resources, transport, operations, and staff management will be organised by the successful candidate.
* Ongoing professional reading and research will inform best practice in the program area, and opportunities for staff professional learning will be provided.
* Staff quality within the program will be supervised through collegial support, advice, observation, and facilitation of reflective responses to issues.
* The successful candidate will contribute to the leadership of the school through active participation in staff and middle leadership meetings.
About You
* A committed, practicing Catholic or equivalent faith tradition commitment is required.
* Demonstrated leadership experience in school-based programs and support for staff professional development are essential.
* Strong communication skills are necessary to engage effectively with students, parents, staff, and stakeholders.
* Organisational expertise in managing logistics, resources, and budgets within program areas is required.
* Commitment to ongoing professional learning and implementation of best practices in education is expected.
* An active contribution to school leadership and fostering a collaborative work environment is desired.
Requirements
* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment is required.
