Hours of Work
Part-time, 20 hours per week (40 hours per fortnight), over a rotating 24/7 roster.
Note: Radius Care cannot support work visas/visa changes for part-time HCAs. Visa-holders must have a current visa with open work rights and preferably at least 6 months left until expiry.
Pay Rate
Subject to completed recognized caregiving qualifications.
About the Role
Provide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.
Responsibilities
* Undertake personal cares while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence.
* Promptly complete delegated tasks in a timely manner.
* Respond quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information.
* Maintain and update resident healthcare records.
* Assist with handover of residents at shift changes.

Skills and Experience
* New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing and experience are desirable.
* People skills + empathy for our residents and their families.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Flexibility to work rostered shifts.
