**About the Client**
Our large NSW State Government client works with vulnerable communities to ensure they have access to affordable, quality housing.
**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an Identified Client Service Officer to join their team in Riverwood. This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Reporting to the Manager, you will be required to provide a broad range of applicant, tenancy and property management services and advice to clients, advocates and other stakeholders.
In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties:
- Makes an assessment based on the information provided to determine eligibility for Housing NSW products and services.
- Work collaboratively with internal specialists and external service providers and make referrals where additional support requirements are identified to better meet client needs.
- Maintains call records, system entries and client/service databases in line with record management guidelines to ensure that information is accurate and up to date.
- Undertakes outbound calls to clients to facilitate the completion of specialised and ad-hoc projects including client wellbeing checks
- Manage tenancies and support clients to maintain successful tenancies.
- Investigate and action complaints relating to any breaches of the Residential Tenancies Agreement
- Conducting in home property inspections and educating Tenants on their agreements and obligations
- Provides administrative support including correspondence processing and reporting to facilitate the completion of the contact centre's endorsed work.
- Manage client information to ensure confidentiality, accuracy and integrity
**About You**
To be successful in this assignment you will have the following:
- Current Drivers Licence
- Empathetic, supportive nature with proven experience working with clients with complex support requirements
- Passionate and advocate for vulnerable clients
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Takes initiative with the ability to work autonomously
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
