A privately owned, design-led property developer based in the heart of Burleigh Heads is seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to join their growing team.
With a strong pipeline of high-end projects across residential, hospitality and industrial sectors, this business has established itself as a key player in delivering premium, design-focused developments across South East Queensland and key lifestyle markets.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio including hotel-integrated developments, ultra-luxury residential projects and large-scale land and industrial estates.
About the Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take ownership of projects across the full development lifecycle, from acquisition and feasibility through to delivery and operational handover.
You will play a key role in managing complex, high-value developments, ensuring strong commercial outcomes while maintaining a focus on design quality and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end development management across multiple concurrent projects
* Drive feasibility, acquisition, planning approvals and development structuring
* Manage consultants, design teams and contractors across all project phases
* Oversee programme, cost, risk and delivery outcomes
* Manage stakeholder relationships including joint venture partners and capital providers
* Contribute to strategic decision-making and future pipeline growth
* Ensure developments align with a strong design-led and premium market positioning
Essential Experience
* Proven experience in a Senior Development Manager or Development Manager role
* Demonstrated track record across hotel or hospitality developments
* Strong experience delivering luxury residential projects
* Exposure to land subdivision, masterplanned communities or industrial estates
* Experience managing complex, high-value developments from inception to completion
* Strong commercial acumen with feasibility and financial modelling capability
* Ability to operate across both strategic and delivery phases
* Established industry network across consultants, contractors and stakeholders
Desirable
* Experience delivering mixed-use or hotel-integrated developments
* Exposure to high-end, design-driven projects
* Background in property, construction, finance or investment
