Position Responsibilities
1. The role involves providing leadership and direction to the Perioperative Department, aligning with the hospital's strategic, operational, and business goals.
2. You will oversee the department's operations to ensure efficient management and coordinate evidence-based nursing care delivery.
3. Accountability includes managing human, financial, and material resources, and maintaining optimal customer service levels.
4. You will perform direct patient care as needed and provide guidance and support to less experienced nursing staff.

Selection Criteria
* Registered Nurse with APHRA registration
* Tertiary qualification in management or working towards it
* At least 4 years of experience in the Perioperative Department
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Excellent communication skills
* Commitment to high standards of clinical and customer care
* Proficiency in MS Office and computer literacy
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Strong time management and prioritization skills
* Knowledge of labour management and rostering
* Experience in a similar leadership role
