Department of HealthHospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals NthLaunceston General HospitalApplications must be submitted by Sunday 15 June, 2025 11:55 PMSunday 15 June, 2025 11:55 PM AESTAward/Classification:Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Registered Nurse, Grade 7a$122,365 to $129,060 pro rata, per annumEmployment type:Part TimeRegion:NorthLocation:LGH Charles Street, LauncestonWe are seeking a Nurse Manager to provide leadership and manage the coordination of hospital wide patient access and flow within the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) and the interface with the wider Department of Health.The Team:The Patient flow team manages the coordination of hospital wide patient access and flow within the Launceston General Hospital working collaboratively with Primary Health and Mental Health North.The Role:The Nurse Manager Patient Flow works autonomously providing direction and leadership to the LGH pertaining to patient access and flow throughout the LGH.The Nurse Manager Patient Flow works within the Integrated Operations Centre team toensure the right person receives the right care in the most appropriate setting.This is a fully rotational shift working position including working weekends and public holidays (excluding night shift).Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Why Tasmania:The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services.
