Pay Rates: $36+ to $75+ per hour, plus Superannuation

Your Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support to people with complex needs, helping them live independently. Your responsibilities will include:
* Personal care – Supporting people to cook, shower, groom, take medication safely, move around their home, and more.
* Community & social engagement – Encouraging and joining our clients as they participate in local activities.
* Supporting clients with behavioural & mental health needs – Working with effective Positive Behaviour Support Plans and Practitioners.
* Helping families with complex needs – Providing emotional and practical support.
* Flexible travel across Sunshine Coast – Bringing care where it’s needed most.
What You Need to Get Started
Essential:
* Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain).
* Blue Card (or willing to obtain).
* First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain).
* Driver’s license & reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module & COVID-19 Infection Control Certificate (free online).
* Positive attitude, passion, and physical fitness.
Preferred (but not required):
* 2+ years of experience in disability support.
* Experience with Restrictive Practices & PBSP.
* Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Allied Health, or Mental Health.
* Studying or qualified in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Psychology).
