Job Opportunity: Mechanical Service Advisor
We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Mechanical Service Advisor. As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our fleet of vehicles is well-maintained and ready for hire.
Main Responsibilities:
• Monitor and track workshop bookings on a daily basis
• Prepare quotes for mechanical tasks and rental car enquiries
• Maintain inventory and stock levels
• Communicate with customers regarding mechanical faults
• Organize and maintain administration tasks related to our fleet
• Invoice and collect debtors
• Provide exceptional customer service and sales skills
• Assist key personnel in their roles
• Sell additional products and services
• Support the Rental Administrator in creating bookings, preparing vehicles for hire, and assisting with rental inquiries
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent teamwork and time management skills. You should also be able to handle an unpredictable environment and work independently when needed. Other essential requirements include:
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Competence in managing yourself when unsupervised
* Able to learn quickly without compromising attention to detail
* Excellent customer service and sales skills
* A friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude
* Maturity and initiative
* Understanding of Cash Handling Procedures and use of EFTPOS
* Proven computer, numerical, and literacy skills
* Ability to work within a paperless computer-based scheduling and maintenance system
* Experience with Google Drive and Programs is advantageous
* Strong problem-solving skills and working under pressure
* Some mechanical and parts knowledge background would be beneficial
* Exceptional grooming and personal presentation standards
* Reversing skills essential for moving vehicles in tight spaces
* Automatic or manual open driver's license preferred but not required
